Bulbul  

The bulbul is a bird with a top of white feathers.  In Chinese, it is aptly called bai dou weng（白头翁） , meaning white head old man.  The bird symbolises old ripe age. 

It is  commonly depicted together with the peony flower, a symbol of riches and honours.   The auspicious design is termed fu gui bai tou (富贵白头），fu gui meaning riches and honours and bai tou meaning till old age.   Hence,  it means a lifetime of riches and honours.
